Our admission process is simple. You can complete your application entirely online. You can save and return to your application at any time.  

With multiple start dates throughout the year, it’s always a good time to apply. We’re here to help you throughout the process. If you run into issues while applying, don’t hesitate to contact your enrollment counselor.  

General Admissions Dates

We encourage you to apply well in advance of your target start date to ensure you’re accepted and enrolled in time. While application dates vary by program, explore some key start dates below.

Fall courses begin09/08/2025
Spring courses begin01/12/2026
Summer courses begin05/11/2026

Keep in mind that the dates for your program of choice may differ. 

How to Apply

Step One

Create an online application account.

If you’re applying to a nursing program, start by creating a NursingCAS account.

Step Two

Gather the necessary documents and information for the program to which you’re applying. Review specific application requirements on the program overview page.

Step Three

Complete your online application. The process takes 15-20 minutes. You can save your progress and return, as necessary.

Step Four

Contact your enrollment counselor with any questions you may have throughout the process.

Based on your choice of program, transfer credits, and location of study, additional application steps may be necessary. We recommend carefully reviewing your program’s requirements and scheduling a consultation with an enrollment counselor to address your individual circumstances.

Transfer Students

Transferring to North Park

We gladly accept transfer students into our programs at North Park. The transfer process may differ by program. In general, you’ll submit official transcripts from all schools you’ve attended, and then you’ll receive an official transfer credit evaluation. This document will list the credits North Park will accept, the requirements they meet, and help you understand what courses you’ll still need to take.

Military Affiliated Students

Military Learners at North Park

We offer many benefits for veterans, including VA options like those offered in the Post 9/11 GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon Program. Our VA coordinator can be reached at 773-244-6267. 

International Students

Applying as an International Student

International students may have to provide additional documentation when they apply, including the following:

  • An English proficiency exam (TOEFL 80)
  • An optional essay
  • A visa, if studying on campus

Paying for Your North Park Degree

There are multiple options for financing your degree at North Park. Be sure to submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year and explore third-party scholarship opportunities. Investing in your education is a big decision, and we are here to help you finance your degree in a way that fits your needs. Programs are not eligible for NPU scholarships, Graduate Assistantship, or tuition discounts.
